On May 1st, 2018, all the staff of the SNPC group Brazzaville met at the Tower, headquarter of the SNPC group, to celebrate International Workers Day. This day was marked by a lunch in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Throughout the meal, some interventions were made during which all the participants were reminded of the significance and origin of this May Day. The latter originates from the struggles of the labor movement, first in the United States of America, and then in industrialized European countries, to obtain the eight-hour working day at the end of the 19th century, eight to work, eight hours to learn and eight hours to cultivate his body.
A representative of the College of Staff Delegates addressed the Director General, Mr. Maixent Raoul Ominga. First, to congratulate him on his recent appointment, then thank him for the moment of shared social cohesion and finally wish him good luck in his term.
The Director General took the opportunity to ask the staff to put their heart and soul into the work, to give their best, and to have a team spirit. Because only unity is strength.
